I have been to this particular gas station on several occasions in order to take advantage of the Shell Fuel Rewards Program. The program itself is nice because you can stack and build your rewards balance by buying specific products in return for $ off each gallon of gas.
I never in my life have been treated so horribly by a gas station attendant, who I believe to be the owner. He is extremely rude, has a temper with a short fuse, provides the exact opposite of customer service, is extremely unhelpful, and has no idea/knowledge/understanding of how his own gas station fuel rewards program even works!
Tonight, for example, I purchase 2 starburst (a Featured Offer in the FR app) specifically to earn an additional 5 cents off/gallon. After you enter in your Reward ID code and pay your receipt is sent to the shell rewards program app for verification and then you receive whatever reward they are offering (side note - this guy doesn’t understand his own fuel reward program and how it works even though I’ve tried to explain it to him on at least 4 different occasions).
Anyway, so instead of manually entering the price, I ask him to scan the items. He is clearly annoyed that I would even ask such a question, but begrudgingly complies and scans them in. Once he scanned them, the touchpad screen went straight to payment instead of allowing me to enter in my rewards ID. Oh, no! Now he has to cancel the transaction, but instead of rescanning the starburst as requested (which remember...is the WHOLE POINT of me even being there) he enters them in manually. He absolutely didn’t rescan them on purpose so I ask to return the items with the intent of repurchasing them the CORRECT way, but by this point he is clearly angry and says, “I’m closing and going home now.” Man! This guy must really be miserable.
This was the straw that broke the camels back. This shell will no longer get my business even if I have to go out of the way to find another gas station. He has lost a customer and if he treats me this way then I can only imagine how many other peoples business he has lost.

Best place to ever be!! The owner is very nice and friendly. I always go there to get my gas and anything I want to grab ina. Quick jiffy
