School of Rock

Playing together in a band is the best motivation to learn a musical instrument. All of the instructors and the team are super friendly and go out of their way to ensure that it is a positive experience for your child. It is rather expensive on a monthly basis but worth it if your child really has the desire and is musically talented- then this is the place to be. Freddie the manager is incredibly helpful and so great with the kids.

The lessons are geared towards anyone's level whether you're a beginner or someone who has played for years the school does a great job pairing you up with an instructor that will help you advance in your skills. For me playing in the adult band and having an instructor that is a gigging player themselves really helps my process in what I'm learning and then able to get better and be able to perform without hesitation. The staff is really nice and helpful and is a pleasure to deal with all the time.

My son loves their programs! They use a fresh and modern method to get young people interested in their own learning. And it’s not just rock as their name suggest, there’s more than that. My son has been learning to appreciate different types of genres; music theory, team work, etc. 10/10 for School of Rock in Watertown. The manager and staff and gentle, involved and listen to your needs and requests.

We have two children aged 12 and 9 at school of rock, and our oldest is entering her third year with the program. We are VERY happy with the instruction they receive, the group performances, and the overall supportive environment that Freddy, Wilbur, Paz, and the rest of the team create for these young musicians. At the last season performance we were absolutely blown away when our daughter sang a song and owned the stage. It has been amazing to watch her growth as a musician and look forward to seeing her futher grow with the help of School of Rock Watertown.

Incredible instructors. It’s run like a well oiled machine by some very talented management staff. It’s a caring, inclusive place to be and I am proud of be part of the community. My kids have grown as musicians and as people from their lessons and involvement with such a special place.
