School of Rock

Our experience with School of Rock Wakefield has been fantastic. My son takes guitar and drum lessons with the talented instructor, Josh. Under his guidance, my son has grown as a musician and gained confidence. Being part of the 101 rock band has been amazing, with exhilarating performances and remarkable progress. The school provides a nurturing environment, supportive staff, and top-notch facilities. They offer a comprehensive musical education, inspiring creativity and fostering a love for music. We highly recommend School of Rock Wakefield for any aspiring musician.

We did some camps this summer and it was a GREAT experience! My child who plays guitar and loves 80s rock music was able to play music HE likes with students on other instruments. Learning to listen to and time his playing with other people is crucial to his development as a musician but his school bands don’t offer music he likes. He also tried out some different genres and found an appreciation for them, plus the confidence to try out for a jazz band. The staff is kind and welcoming, making it a safe space to be themselves. Definitely a 10/10!!!

Our son really enjoyed School of Rock--instructors, students, practices, and performances. Camp was challenging and fun!

The instructors are experienced professional musicians who also have a love of teaching. They are so invested in the development of their students as is evident by their passion and enthusiasm. It’s clear that they love their jobs. It has become my son’s home away from home. He spends several hours per week there and would spend more if he could! It’s worth the 40 min drive each way. The school has top of line rehearsal rooms and equipment. The program is designed for beginners, intermediate or seasoned musicians. There is a challenge at every level and your child will acquire the skills to be able to take advantage of the many seasonal performance programs and even audition for their resident house band when they are ready. In summary, top notch instructors, environment and program! Can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful staff and teachers all with a passion for music and helping students reach the next level. Kids learn not only how to become better musicians, but more importantly how to work together to put on a show. Very collaborative and supportive environment.
