School of Rock

Our son did his first one week camp here - 101 Rock. With just a little prior experience on acoustic guitar - he got to learn to play two awesome songs in his "band" and rock out on the electric guitar for the first time. The staff/instructors were great, he loved them and they were very attentive to the kids. He gained a lot of confidence and grew and learned a lot in one week, definitely plan to sign him up again.

School of Rock Woodland Hills has been a wonderful expereince for our son! He takes drum lessons weekly and practices at home daily. We love that there seem to always be opportunities to grow and develop his skills, like camp, performance program and audition opportunities for the SofR House band! Phil, the manager is always responsive and communicates with us regularly.

My daughter has been going here for about a year now. She is taking drum lessons from Indigo (who is amazing) and has been participating in the performance groups. She looks forward to going to her lesson and performance group rehearsals every week. Her playing has improved exponentially over the past year. The experience she is getting at the school is priceless. School of Rock is her favorite place to be. Highly recommend.

Great staff all around. Krystina at the front desk always greets me and others that walk in. My drum instructor, Skylar, is great at identifying new exercises that challenge me on the drums and sticks with me as I work out the limb independence to master what I am learning.

I took drum lessons for almost a year and the entire experience was overwhelmingly positive. Krystina, the assistant manager, was super welcoming from day one. Super responsive and helpful, and always a pleasure to chat with while waiting for my lessons. Indigo is the dude!!!! She's so patient, energetic, and was always so stoked to share her passion through teaching music. She also took such care to help me break down my inner saboteur that impedes my progress, and to view my learning as a fun journey to move through at my own pace. Although I still have a ways to go, I've become quite a bit more confident with Indigo's guidance. I had to quit due to work obligations, but I'd come back in heartbeat. Thank you for everything, Krystina and Indigo!
