Fantastic place. Definitely bring your kids here as they will Definitely enjoy it. My son and I went on the Ferris wheel several times and went upstairs and even played some miniature bowling for only one dollar a game! Definitely want to come out here and just enjoy yourself if you have some time to kill. The staff is really awesome and very inviting and nice.
Our Scheels is very clean. Easy to find what you are looking for plus lots more. I love that they have a lot to do for my kids too! Makes shopping easier. They have the kids jungle gym, 🎡, eating area, candy store. Kid section, games , bowling, shooting area. The food is reasonable pricing. The kids meals come with chips or apple sauce , drink and ice cream ! Tons of selection clothing , hunting , fishing , shoes and outdoor accessories
Scheels is more than just a place to shop for sporting goods. There are many entertaining things to do such as going on the Farris Wheel, getting the fun photo op, plenty of games to play, and you're able to get food and candy from the stores inside in the middle by the Farris Wheel.
We went in for shoes that could be for hiking as well as be able to go into water. We spoke with Tracy in the women's shoes and Nick in the men's. They were both very helpful and we found exactly what we were looking for! It's an adventure going in and fun to walk around and check out.
I went to the store, 6pm on a Monday evening, rolling my bike in the store. I proceeded to the bike shop and was met with a smile. I told the gentlemen that my bike chain was "skipping". (I didn't buy the bike from the store, actually bought it second hand.) They immediately put it on the rack, and diagnosed it as messed up link. They tried to fix it, and suggested it might be best to replace the chain. I quickly agreed. The fix was perfect and CHEAP! I walked out of the store for about $20. They only charged me $8 for labor and the chain was around $14.
They did suggest a tune-up but told me just wait till it's too cold to ride and said the standard tune-up should meet my needs.
The crew did an amazing job - I felt like they did not oversell me and went out of their way to meet my needs. Scheel's will definitely be my bike shop of choice in SIoux Falls.
