Dear Marvin Doors, Here are the additional photos you requested. The top of the right-hand door is "bowed out" compared to the bottom, which is flush with the left-hand door. This will quickly worsen over time until the doors can not be locked at all. Please be aware of the history here: the units were installed and adjusted, a few weeks later they fell out of adjustment; Sandia sent someone back to adjust them (twice); they worked for awhile but soon fell out of adjustment again and failed to lock again. So we contacted Sandia again and they sent "Jory" out; he adjusted them (the third time, now) and pronounced the doors defective and needful of replacement. But nothing happened so we contacted Sandia again, and spoke to Norm from Sandia. Norm disparaged Jory's professional skills, while saying that Jory did NOT think the doors defective (almost certainly a blatant lie), and sent "Thomas" out to check the doors. Thomas also pronounced the doors defective, and stated that they should be replaced under warranty, which is exactly what Jory told us; Thomas did not bother to adjust the doors again, figuring they would soon be replaced anyway. Again, no word from Sandia; so we called them yet again, and once again, Norm told us his "parallel universe" story, this time using Thomas rather than Jory. This is all crazy, obviously! And no, this review is not a "duplicate," you ding-bats, since both Jane and I were BOTH screwed by your very dubious customer service policies and unwillingness to stand by your products. Two people, two "screwings," two people cheated out of their hard-earned money. I urge anyone considering doing business with Sandia Sunrooms to wade through the SEA of one-star review for this business, and you'll get a better handle on the lack of business ethics this company offers. It could happen to you. You've been warned.

After moving into a used house we discovered that the back sliding door was in poor shape. It didn't seal and was hard to slide. When a good tax return left us with some disposable funds to work with we contacted Sandia Sunrooms to replace the bad door with a swinging door. Sandia deals in Marvin doors, and they had an excellent single-swing French door unit that could replace our slider. The sales person was helpful and thorough. The installer was professional and efficient. The subcontractor that cleaned up the stucco was skilled. Overall we just could not see a way to improve the job.

Dear Marvin Doors: Just to bring you up to date, Sandia Sunrooms has decided not to assist us further with the ongoing problems we are experiencing with our Marvin Doors, which they installed on September 25, 2022, and which have been giving us non-stop problems and headaches ever since. Their current position — at least, according to “Norm” at Sandia — that the doors are fine — contradicts the findings of two technicians they sent out recently to inspect the doors, and flies in the face of all evidence and actual experience with these troublesome doors here in our home. It is our considered opinion that Sandia Sunrooms has acted in a dishonest, irresponsible, erratic fashion, DELIBERATELY, in order to create confusion and (ultimately) free themselves of the obligation to stand behind its product and its service. There is no other rational explanation for the disconnect between what we were told by “Jory” and “Thomas,” Sandia’s door technicians (du jour), and what “Norm” has told us they told him. It is ALSO, certainly, our opinion, that Marvin should find a better, more ethical dealer in our area, and “divorce” themselves from Sandia Sunrooms at the earliest opportunity. Please keep us up to date on the progress you are making in having this ongoing, long-standing problem with our Marvin Doors resolved. My cover porch looks amazing! What great men Ramo and Juan, so professional and SO hardworking. They take pride in their work! It took a while to get it all done, but it was well worth the wait. So exited for summer to come so we can enjoy our new covered patio even more!!

Our new windows have made all the difference! Not only is our home more efficient, it looks wonderful. Working with SS&W was very pleasant. Their on site consultation and installation were great, and a follow up visit to address an issue was very easy and their service was excellent.
