The staff were very pleasant to deal with. Judy I think is the managers name. She seems to really care about the store and her team. She recognized many of her customers by name. That's impressive for an outlet store in a tourist town. She was a huge help. I was having trouble with a yeti product and she told me how to reach out and ask for a warranty replacement. New one is on the way. Huge thanks for that. Will return everytime we are in the area
Ruth in the shoe department… excellent customer service. The Foley store didn’t have the shoe I was looking for in stock, but she called to see if any of the other ones did and had them hold them for me. Thank you Ruth for all of your help!!!
Well "there is no one that can do anything about it. It's just a single shirt..." that was the response given to me from the manager after ordering a shirt from Sand Dollar in Foley. Four weeks went by, and I had to call them for a status update. I was told around 6 weeks at that call. Six weeks came and went, again I had to call them for a status update. I asked the manager if she can make a call for me to get a status. I was told, "there is no one that can do anything about it. It's just a single shirt...". There was no sense of initiative to try to help me. She was more in defense mode than trying to be proactive to help me resolve this. Finally the result was just a credit. In hind sight, I wish my daughter would have given me a gift card to a restaurant instead. I dread going back there again...
This was the first time that I've ever been in here and it was a very nice store! They had just about every major brand from Patagonia to Huk, to Salt Life and the very popular Hey Dude shoes. The store was very clean and the staff were all very helpful and very courteous. If you need any clothes or shows and shopping in Tanger Outlets then look no further than the Sand Dollar Lifestyles store!
Awful experience. The girls behind the counter were making fun of other coworkers and I was treated as if I was going to steal something. The girl was motioning when she thought I wasn’t looking and said, I’m keeping these boxes.
Then, when I got to the register, the shoes were more expensive than I thought. Because of that and what happened earlier, I walked out and left the shoes. I won’t be back.
I would have let two of the staff members go on the spot, if I were their manager. Be polite, professional and push the buttons on the register. That’s all. Otherwise, go home.
I’m currently headed to another store to buy the exact same pair of shoes. Thanks.
