Sahara Window and Doors

If I could zero stars I would. This company is absolutely horrible and installs windows incorrectly. They are also known as American Thermal Windows. The windows that were installed FAILED the inspection by the city inspector. The city inspector noted the window frame structure was improperly installed. The city inspector also further noted that the window was unprofessionally installed. This company's chief engineer, the salesman, and installer that inspected the windows prior to the city inspector's review stated nothing was wrong with the installation despite windows frame extended beyond the structure of the home and excessive installation in some areas to cover their incorrect installation. I have had two other window companies review installation and both companies have confirmed either the window size is not accurate or the installers did not center the window properly in the frame. I have requested on multiple occasions that the company return and remove and re-install the windows properly and they have refused to re-install the window properly and correct the issue of incorrect window frame installation. Run and run far from American Thermal Window and Doors and Sahara Windows and Doors, same company but different names.

Purchased 10 windows last September, took 7+ weeks to arrive, installed in November 2018 and have had nothing but issues with the installation of the windows . I thought the installation was going okay until the end of the day when we noticed they wouldn't open, there were gaps in the center of the wnidow by the wood casing where you can see straight to the outside, the worng casing was nailed up and took myelf to call it out, missing handles, weather stripping put in backwards, a defective window, and on it goes. We currently stil lhave one window that doesn't stay up. The people who work in the office for both divisions American Thermal and Sahara are rude and unpleasant to deal with (Rosie) though the installers seem normal. I had to have Marvin come out twice to fix their mistakes. The windows were stained and painted in which Sahara sub-contracted the work and my windows were all damaged. We found out the hard way that Sahara/American Thermal Windows does not stand by their workmanship as they refuse to fix the list of issues but started bullying tactics to get paid in full. People need to start speaking up aginst companies such as this one so others can be informed. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Tony and Janusz did a fantastic job installing our storm doors. They look great, arrived on schedule, and the new cappings are nice and tight.

They have very good service. They do a lot of custom work.
