I’m leaving a freaking review here. Unbelievable! I came in looking for a hand held scrub brush and all they showed me were dish brushes. “ You don’t have a brush bigger than that?” “No, sorry”. I can’t waste my time anymore. I tried to give them my business, but really? No brushes to scrub a floor with?
Unbelievably horrible customer service. Needed a small item. Was rudely told by the female behind the counter that she couldn't look up anything and then directed me to an older male employee who after I showed him a picture of what I was looking for off of their own website asked "what do you want?". I guess the picture, part description and part number were not enough for him? He then pointed to the rear of the store and sent me on my way. After not being able to locate the part, and being ignored for 20 minutes I decided to leave. I went to Dave's Ace Hardware where I was greeted upon entering the store and the moment I entered the isle an employee was there to help me with all of my questions, even looking up the item on his phone, which apparently the employees at Rods are incapable (or just too lazy) of doing? Judging by the number of customers at Rod's compared to Dave's I see why the latter is a better choice for your hardware needs.
For me knowing where something is or general idea is a plus for anyone in the store. To go up to a crew member and ask them where I might find something and them to reply with at least a idea, then to say "I don't know", or "I don't even think we have those" without even double checking. We'll I can say with total honesty that has never happened to me and happy that it hasn't. Thank you Rod's you have a great crew and awesome team.
