On Aug 12, my basement, as a lot of others in Mayfield, flooded with sewage. I called my insurance company, to make a claim. I then shortly later received a call from this company, for remediation. They came for about 6 hrs the first day, and about 3 hours the next day, then stopped due to "possible asbestos", and left. My basement was not in any way, clean. The floor is sticky, tiles remain half ripped up, they didn't remove anything but the carpeting and one rooms flooring. I am very upset with the "finished" product and feel as though the job was not complete. My husband, while working from home, was told they couldn't do any further work, due to finding "possible asbestos", and they had him sign a "job complete" form, and they left. I never received a bill, so I figured they went through my insurance. Then, I receive a phone call for the balance due, $2800 and change. I talked to the owner, Cathy, I explained to her what happened, and sent her pictures, per her request. She told me that there was nothing in the notes about asbestos, that they are supposed to test for it if they think they find it. She was at first, surprised to hear that, so she said she was going to talk to Phil, and get back to me. That was last week, I never heard back, so I reached out through email Monday, 10-30. Then got home, to a bill for the full amount. I reached back out, wondering why I hadn't heard back from her and yet I received a bill for the full amount, when she told me they are supposed to come back and test for asbestos... Now she is saying the job was completed and they didn't do further work due to cost... I never even knew they could handle asbestos!! I would have had them complete the job and remove the asbestos, if they had actually done a good job and offered it! I was talking to another contractor to come take care of the asbestos! I have not been able to use my basement, due to the asbestos being disturbed and left! This place is NOT honest and not thorough at all. This is not my first experience with remediation, so I know what to expect when the job is done, and this is not it! I don't feel as though they cleaned or sanitized properly, nor did they finish the work! I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!

They were able to come over the next day, cut out the drywall and determine what was causing the leak. They took away everything moldy and treated everything immediately. Turns out the sewage line had a crack, so it needed excavation from the outside. They did not do this, but referred me to an incredible company. Everything got taken care of right away. As soon as the other company was finished, PuroClean gave me an estimate for repairing everything good as new. Would highly recommend this company! Used them years ago when we had a pipe burst in our basement. Same experience then was very happy with the company. Amazing service.

My experience with Puroclean has been excellent and I would highly recommend this company. Nick of Puroclean did an excellent job of keeping me informed about every aspect of the project from the estimate through completion. If you need water or mold remediation, this is the company to use!

I called PuroClean on December 13th and they came out the morning of December 14. Mr. Rick Gutridge came out and assessed what my wife and I thought was black mold and it was not. Mr. Gutridge provided an explanation of what the mold was how it got where it was and was through on his examination of the home. He provided simple cost effective solutions to get rid of the mold and did not charge me for his time. If I ever need house damage repair due to water, fire, and mold I will be sure to call PuroClean again. Thank you very much Mr. Gutridge!
