90 minutes for just an oil change. Made clear when I made the appointment online (and confirmed when I arrived in the store) that I would be waiting with the vehicle, but no priority was given for what should’ve been a 20-30 minute job. Recommended an additional $100 to change the air and cabin filters that were “dirty”. I am confident that they did not check the cabin filter as that would require disassembling the glove compartment. $20 in filters and 10 minutes of my own time would take care of both. Only took my car here because I couldn’t get my oil filter off myself and because of a 30% off coupon they had, but the oil change was still overpriced at nearly $80. I’ll be saving $30 AND an hour of my time doing it myself next time. If needed, will stick to local mechanics in the future for any work I can’t do myself.

My Name is Rev. Ray Vega, I Visited this pep boys in West Berlin NJ and I got to tell you ! The service I got here today was amazing Jim and his crew did an awesome job getting my 2012 Nissan pathfinder back on the road! These guys went out of there way to make sure my truck was repaired right and in tip top shape! There customer service skills was outstanding! Highly recommended ! Management should consider this entire crew for advancement! There customer service skills should be emulated by all pep boys!! BRAVO ZULU GUYS!!

My experience at Pep Boys for an oil change was not great. Firstly, they didn't conduct the inspection I expected, which I thought was automatic. I mentioned a headlight issue, and although they claimed to fix it, a double-check before leaving revealed it wasn't done. They eventually replaced the bulb but gave me a hard time about it. Additionally, they forgot to put the service sticker in my windshield to indicate the next due date. Lastly, my 3 pm appointment didn't conclude until 5 pm, making the process longer than anticipated. Overall, not the smoothest visit.

Great service. Went in for an oil chg, they identified some issues that i was not aware of and repaired them at a reasonable cost. SM Brian leads a good team! Keep up the good work!

What a bunch of con men. They told me I need $2,000 worth of work on my car. I decided to take it for a second opinion and when I went to pick it up, they had begun working on my car WITHOUT my permission. Don’t go here. They will lie to you to try to get the most amount of money out of you. When I took it to another mechanic, they didn’t find any of the issues that this place found and only charged me $140 for a few necessary repairs.
