Terrible customer service. I purchased a simple rake that was too light for my needs. Took it back for refund and was told that they don't do refunds for any hand tools. This information is NOT on the receipt and I was not told this before buying the rake. The only place this is listed is on a very small piece of paper taped to the counter... which is very hard to read. So, if you do business here be aware of this.
Today I walked into my neighborhood Ace to find a Propane tank adapter for a BBQ grill I’m installing. I find what I’m looking for and go to the register to pay only to find out price is different than display on shelf. Regular price on shelf sticker is $17.99. price at Register $22.99 I tell the cashier and she says “yes you’re right let me fix it.” Then a different cashier walks up and states “you have to pay what my computer says not what’s displayed.” I said okay I understand but the store is displaying $17.99 matching sku, model number, description and same items in that spot. He then says “well the owner is too cheap to fix the issue and I won’t change the price for what’s displayed. If you want a better price shop at a different store this one is privately owned. And the owner lives in Prescott if you want to talk to him he’ll be here some day” I said okay I guess I’ll pay the computer price but $5 difference is a big difference I mean we are talking 27% increase on price from displayed to register. I could understand a Sale item being wrong due to sale being over but this is a lower regular price displayed.
End of day this Ace Hardware needs to do better with displaying current and real cost not lesser incorrect pricing and then having employees who sound like they can care less about the job or the customers who shop there.

I've only visited this place once before, and they were of no help at all and pretty rude!
But to my surprise, I had to return to purchase a chain for my husband's chain saw. My daughter provided him with an empty chain box with the information, the gentleman that assisted my daughter was very knowledgeable and asked what was the actual size of the chain and how many teeth does it have something we weren't aware off!
He asked for us to provide him with a picture, and he would know he didn't want to sell us the wrong item.
I suppose you do learn something new everyday, thank you, Pareja's Ace Hardware, for helping us out and keeping us from driving around!...😊
I came here to purchase Christmas lights. They don’t have any on display so I don’t know what the color looks like once they’re actually plugged in, OK not a big deal. But they also won’t allow me to return them if I purchase it because it’s a seasonal item. So, if I don’t like them, I’m totally screwed. I don’t feel like asking for one of the other is too much. I need to buy 2000 feet in Christmas lights, they lost a big sale because they won’t open a box and plug it in to show customers what they’re buying.

This place is so customer service orientated. Ashley helped me so much when I had no clue what I was doing. Great store. Home depot has been replaced.
