Oxxo

Generally a perfectly fine place to get "corner-store" type items. However, today was a s*&^ty experience. They sell the large water bottles for water coolers, and you pay a fairly large deposit for a bottle and then can trade it in for refills at a much lower price. No problem there. On our first day, we brought in an empty large bottle from our condo in to get it refilled, but they wouldn't do it. Afterwards I learned that it was the wrong brand of bottle, which they don't sell. No problem there either, of course I wouldn't expect them to take a bottle that they don't actually sell. So, I just bought a new one. BUT, two days later I brought THAT one in, and they wouldn't accept the exchange. THAT, as far as I'm concerned, is now at the point of just taking advantage of tourists. All in all, not the end of the world, and it wasn't THAT much for a new bottle, but still worth a little rant, and certainly worth a one star review.

Has all the snack food you could hope for, akin to a seven eleven in the United States. Friendly cashiers, very air conditioned, with a nice clean atmosphere.

Opening times are not correct and dont make sense. They close the doors at 9.50 pm while the times say this OXO closes at 11 pm

Nice people. Is air-conditioned and has good selection for a small store.
