Terrible service!
I was in this office today 15.02 around 13:30 for open bank account and supposed to be you’re client. Woman in cash desk #1 told me I have to take appointment for another day, ok, no problem and I had couple another question . I don’t speak Spanish well she absolutely didn’t want to help me. In the end of the story she said me i can’t open bank account because I’m not a student and I don’t have contract for work, despite the fact I have residence and NIE.
Fortunately I found the answers for all my questions in another office,but first impression was awful
very incompetent bank, terrible service, we have suffered a bank fraud and more than 6 months have passed without obtaining any type of response about the case even though the indicated claims steps have been carried out, we have had to go to report The Bank of Spain has not clarified anything about what happened which seems to me to be a lack of respect since they are supposed to be there to safeguard financial protection, an issue that is at risk with them, they do not answer your calls or emails or in person, The bank manager is conspicuous by her absence, if you can change banks do so immediately.
Very incompetent people, you go urgently with an account and they drag you out and when you ask what happened, after a few weeks, the manager tells you that she has not been able to look into the issue because she works a lot and has not been able to. Avoid this office.
This bank is old and does not adapt to the new times we are living. Apart from how bad the office is with all the cables hanging from the ceiling and a more than hostile environment, they simply do not know how to give a serious and professional image that wants new clients if not only they want no one else to open an account in this bank.
They don't know how to do marketing and they don't know how to attract new clients through the internal process and structure of the office.

Morons. Avoid at all costs. They have no interest in foreigners'money and to be honest they just can't wait to be made redundant.
