New Balance

I have Five pairs of New Balance shoes. I love them BUT…the last pair I just ordered were disappointing because the tongue has been shortened and there is an elastic addition attached. Please go back to the earlier design. By the way, I’m 76 yo and I run about 15 miles a week. I rotate my five pairs so they wear evenly.

Steve was very knowledgeable, thorough, and very patient! I tried a few pairs of walking shoes and different inserts before deciding which one was best for me. I have a few foot issues, so I really appreciate that I can wear them for 45 days and take them back in that time frame if they’re just not working for me. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for great sneakers!

The sales folks were first rate; the shoes not so good. Very limited selection and sizes in store. The pair I chose are inferior to the old 642 Country Walker. I found this out after walking a couple of miles in the new shoes. I was looking for something similar to the 642 Country Walker but found none. This is why I went to the New Balance store, to find a replacement for my 642s. Once again, the sales folks were trying their best with what they had. Did offer to order a pair I may have been interested in buying; but, I chose not to go that route. I have put a few miles on the shoes I purchased and can certainly tell the difference in my old shoes and the new. The new ones are inferior and put pressure on the balls of my feet, causing swelling. They also strain my calf muscles and fatigue my legs within two miles of walking, model M840FLS. I cannot recommend these shoes for walking or running. The store can measure your feet for a proper fit, and that's good; but a limited selection is very bad. You may end up with an inferior model.

Staff was knowledgeable and service was quick. We talked about my 928s and my foot size as well as the ball of my foot ‘sliding’ a bit on long walks. They recommend an insert that was free due to the yearly coupon. Love my 928s

New Balance was started as an American shoe company at the beginning of the 20th Century so I support their well-made shoes, even though not all are domestically manufactured. I were a 13 extra-wide and they had my size in the shoe design that I bought. Thumbs Up 👍👍👍
