Minuteman Press in Fayetteville saved the day! I ordered standee banners from Vista Print and after being assured twice that week that my banners would be delivered by Friday, they ground shipped them Thursday night. Ugh!! The banners were for a gala taking place on Saturday! Friday morning I called Minuteman Press in Fayetteville hoping and praying they could turn them around in a day. Rex stated, "If we need them, then he would get them done!" and he did! We had them by Friday evening and they looked FANTASTIC! Thank you for squeezing them into your busy schedule and staying late to get them done! Did I mention that he did not even charge an expediting fee? I will definitely go to Minuteman in Fayetteville for all of my future printing needs!
My sister ordered 750 postcard-sized cards for a corporate event to be passed out to customers coming to a sales event. I picked them up for her.
Minuteman Press put the cards in boxes with tops. Like those typical Christmas gift boxes that have a bottom half and a top half. But they filled the bottom box an inch or two past the sides, and then placed the top of the box on.
I had two boxes plus a third bundle of cards to carry. When I got outside it was raining. And I accidentally tripped. The top box slid off the bottom box and when it hit the ground the top of the box popped off and at least 100-150 cards fell out of the box because those were the cards that were stacked up past the sides of the bottom box. And they landed on the wet ground, scattered everywhere.
Minuteman should not fill the boxes past the edge of the box, because when you take the top off - the cards start falling out. And if you’re going to overfill the box, please at least tape the box closed. And honestly they should have put my order in a bag instead of handing me two boxes + a third bundle of cards.
But hey, I was the one that tripped. I was willing to pay for replacement cards because my sister needed these for her job. So I told the lady in Minuteman that I accidentally dropped some of the cards on the wet ground, and can I please order 150 more. I’ll pay for them. The lady says “well we don’t have any more of that particular color of paper”. And I said that’s ok, please print it on the next closest color or just plain white is fine. Then the lady says “Well how many do you really need, you probably don’t need all of them”
I was shocked that this woman was arguing with me. If my sister ordered 750, then I want 750. I’m even willing to pay for the replacements, when honestly if they had packaged the cards up appropriately then this wouldn’t have even been a problem in the first place.
I eventually gave up because the woman just wouldn’t help me. She decided that the customer didn’t need as many cards as they ordered.
Customer service was just completely nonexistent that day.
Edited to add: I saw the owner’s response. This happened probably 2 years ago. I forgot to leave a review then. But every time I pass the shop I remember the really disappointing service. And I finally remembered to post a review.
Excellent customer service on a complicated job with a short turn-around. The staff was kind and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to provide exactly what was needed.
I couldn't wait to leave a review after my experience with Minuteman Press in Fayetteville today. The owner and staff are extremely helpful, professional, courteous, and kind. This was my first time printing mailers for my business and everyone went above and beyond to walk me through the process and make sure I understood everything. 5 stars across the board. 10 out of 10-would definitely recommend!
