I was surprised at the very professional service and the honest recommendations that were done by the manager that would save me money on my car repair. He also offered recommendation on other services (like rim repair shops) that helped with my issues. They made me feel like they really cared about my car's issues and were committed to fixing them, this does not happen often, I have to say. So I'm definitely coming back and will trust future service to this shop.
I brought my car here for a simple repair. But was told my car needed additional repairs. They offered some discounts.
I stood with the original repairs + what made sense vs the over sell of alleged repairs needed. My car is still fairly new. I ended up taking my car to a different mechanic to get a second opinion. Sure enough, they told me my car didn’t need the repairs this Midas location was claiming I needed.
At this point I’m fairly certain. I highly recommend you to take your vehicle to a different location. Don’t allow yourself to get ripped off! Of course they throw discounts at you; it sweetens the scam.
If you like to be respected & not taken advantage of save yourself some time and money and take your car elsewhere. I initially brought my car here for an oil change. That led to them telling me I needed almost two thousand dollars worth of repairs. After getting those repairs, I picked up my vehicle and immediately noticed the AC wasn't working.
I called the front desk person, Sebastian, right away and he told me to bring my car back the next day. I did as I was told, dropped my car off at 945 am and was called right before they closed and was told I needed to pick up my vehicle.
Once there, I'm informed they didn't have time to look at my car. So I coordinated with Sebastian to drop off my car another day. The second day I'm told that my AC still isn't working. They claimed to have checked it & recharged the AC but then stated since the recharge didn't work it had to be a sensor issue & therefore an issue that wasn't caused by their mechanics. But keep in mind my AC was in working condition prior to me taking my vehicle to them.
I got overwhelmed and had my friend go
talk to Sebastian since they're more familiar with car terminology. Sebastian immediately became condescending, looked at me & told me he'd only speak with me since the car was mine and completely ignored all the questions the person that was with me was asking.
I was then told to take my car back a few days from then. Not the next day because they claimed to be too busy to look at it. I took it back a few days later. During mid day, I get a call from the new manager. The first thing he tells me is that he had to bring his 15 thousand dollar computer to work because of me. That he never travels with his computer but since they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my vehicle that he had to risk his computer and take it outside his home.
I'm then told they aren't going to fix my AC because I can't prove they caused the damage to it. I also get informed I need to pick up my vehicle then and there. Once in the office the new manager of this establishment felt the need to grab his computer and wave it in front of my face and again tell me he had to risk bringing his computer to work to figure out what was wrong with my car. Then he shows me some website he had to visit in order for other mechanics to help him narrow down the problem with my AC. So essentially he googled my issue.
He hands me the documents that states what is wrong with my AC. Tells me to take my car to a different mechanic since I can’t prove they caused the issue. Mind you, this is after they had my car on 4 different days. Uber costs and a waste of time later.. I was told by the new manager to go F*** myself.
Seriously, save yourself the headache and take your car anywhere else.
Wow! I’ll never use this shop again! They are so unorganized. I understand that delays happen but The guy at the front desk was rude when I asked what was going on with my vehicle. They even act like it’s a hassle to be working on your car. They have very poor communication. You would think they have top notch service for what they are charging. Well now I have to take my vehicle elsewhere, it’s making a sound it wasn’t making before I dropped it off. What a waste of money and time! Do your selfs a favor stay away from this place. Your car could come out worse than when you took it in.

I called right before they were closing with a nail in my tire. I was losing air fast. Instead of turning me away like the other Midas I called, Sebastian and Nick said no worries. Come on in. They had me on my way in no time. This experience was strictly due to the incredible staff. I cannot thank Sebastian and Nick enough!
