LOVE this place. Edgar is the best. Been coming here for a few years now. These guys (especially Edgar) are the most honest guys around when it comes to assessing and properly repairing your vehicle. Twice in the past year I came in with squeaky brakes and both times Edgar told me I didn't need to replace them and that only a minor fix was needed. Think about how many mechanics would have just tried to sell me 4 sets of brakes and call it a day. They understand that "repeat business" is what counts. Their honesty and professionalism is what keeps me as a loyal customer. HIGHLY recommend. Not only do they do awesome work, their prices are always reasonable. And they're never pushy. They also always take the time to show you what's wrong with your car and how they can fix it before moving forward. I've also referred them to friends who echo my sentiment. You guys got my business indefinitely!
Edgar and staff have been very good with diagnosing my car several times. They don’t sell you things you don’t need. Prices are fair and they all have been professional and done a great job! Hard to find solid mechanics in the city. Again, anytime I have brought in my car, they’ve been upfront and have done great. I now only bring my car to this location for service. Thanks again!
The best car service we've had! We really appreciate how friendly Edgar and the Midas team is! They always fix the problem on the first visit, and I really appreciate that they also let us know of other concerns that may come up in coming months. Great value for the work done! We've been here multiple times for visits ranging from oil changes to engine fixes.
I have used this location twice; once for an unexpected flat tire and once for tire replacement and alignment. Both times the service was great. They are taking COVID-19 precautions seriously and clearly keep a clean shop. They were able to quickly patch my tire with no appointment on the first visit, which prompted me to come to them for tire replacement a couple months later. I had 3 of my tires replaced and they did quick work and the tires look great. The treads are definitely much improved and make driving in icy roads way less stressful. I would absolutely recommend Midas on Grand and Edgar for all your car servicing needs.
I agree with most of the reviewers here. These guys could have over sold and charged me but didn’t. My brakes sounded like it was going to be an “expensive repair”!
Turns out they just needed to be cleaned and lubricated. Dropped off before work and picked up after.
I really appreciate that they didn’t try to gouge me. This location has gained a customer for life!
