Derick was pleasant on the phone. Set me up with everything I needed. Tire oil change and brake and front end inspection done on time and correct. Pick up was a breeze! Price couldn’t be better!!
I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but couldn't help it in this case. I took my vehicle in to diagnose and fix (hopefully) an issue related to stalling out (happened that morning) when I had the heat on and was braking. This incident didn't produce a "code" / result in the service engine light coming on. But obviously there was an issue.
Long story short, and after spending $1700 on other things they found (brakes, axle work), I drove away with the heat on and almost immediately stalled out again. I took the vehicle back and watched the mechanic toss my keys on the desk to the manager, stating there's nothing else he could do. The manager's explanation was that because the stall out didn't produce a code that they couldn't diagnose the problem.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that the things they replaced really needed it, which was helpful. But they didn't fix the original problem I had.
My question is why did they agree to work on the car without a code originally? (which was their rationale for not working on it any further). It seems to me that if no code = no ability to diagnose, then they should have turned me away originally, but then they would have lost the ability to find other issues to fix.
So I spent $1700, without a fix for the original issue, and was told they couldn't help me any further. Needless to say, I was not pleased.
I went back and read their policy, which states that they provide a written estimate of work to be done, before it's completed. While I received multiple phone calls (your brake pads are worn, your right axle needs work, your left axle also needs work, a caliper has to be fixed), I never received a written estimate.
We brought our Jeep in today, to get a new muffler before our daughter took it to MTU. Tom got us in today, the mechanic that did the work was great. We are very appreciative for the service we received today. Thank you!
Wonderful being able to go online and setup a tentative oil change appointment with a confirmation phone call within 30 minutes!Tom and his staff are professional, curteous, and offer great prices & service. I will be back. Thank you!
My muffler fell off of my car and they got it in the next day!! It ended up being a wheel bearing replacement amongst a lot of other things, and Tom the mechanic working with me genuinely saved my life by fixing my wheel bearing and brake hoses and got me downstate in time for my grandpa’s memorial. He got it all done in 2 days!! There’s a 75% chance I would’ve had my brakes go out on the highway if I didn’t get it fixed. Thank you so so much!!!!
