It's fast food. I normally only pick up Happy Meals for the grandkids. They love them, most of the time.. more for the toys. They always have food left over that gets throwed away, so I can't say they absolutely love the food.
However, the service is questionable at times. Especially when it comes to paying for items with exact change. If you use a debit or credit card, you're good... the cashier doesn't need to count money. Recently, I gave the cashier exact change for my purchase of two Happy Meals, $11.59 (a $5 bill, six $1 bills, two quarters, a nickle, and four pennies). That overwhelmed the cashier! They had no idea how to count money. I sat at the window watching, and answering the questions, "Is this right? Did you give me the exact amount?" Each time I repeated yes. After about 3 to 5 minutes of holding up the line, waiting for a receipt, the cashier finally accepted that I gave them the correct amount and let us move forward.
Like any fast food restaurant, every day is different. You never know what the experience will be until you experience it for yourself.
Slowest drive through I have ever experienced. First, when we pulled up 3 staff members were all outside smoking. Meanwhile the line has 10 people in. Then they helped four cars in the alternate lane before ever acknowledging our presence at the other speaker. Finally after getting attention, the woman couldn't seem to put our order in to the system correctly so we had to repeat our selves multiple times. We were there easily for over 20 minutes. I will give them credit that the order was correct.
At the window we asked for sweet and sour, as people typically do. The lady who was helping us was then spoken over by an angry man. He proceeded to tell us it was 32 cents (which is fine) but that if we wanted any we should’ve asked when we first ordered. He said that to us three times in an angry tone after we had already said “That’s ok, thank you”. I’m sorry sir but where on the menu is the sauce? I don’t care that it’s extra but the attitude from the employees over something a customer wouldn’t know was ridiculous. Do better with your service.
Their food is good. But this McDonald's and all it's employees need to have more communication with their customers & let them be aware of important information ahead of time. (Being professional and productive by doing so.) I decided to go get a late night snack, and waited in the drive through for a good 45 minutes that's not the problem. I know their busy. Right before I pull up to the speaker I pay and place my mobile order on my phone. And I drove up and the first thing the employee says" we apologize for the wait but we can only except cash payments at this time". Instead of me going through that wait, plus losing 15.00 and returning home empty handed it could have been so much easier to have a sign posted on the menu or somewhere before I got to the speaker. You know I had to go back home with less than I had before. Just not right. If they would have used some professional business skills this wouldn't have happened 😕

Lance was amazing at his job. He took my monster puppet that I made at work and hung it on the wall. Hopefully it will stay up for forever.
