McDonald's

I've been a customer of this location for years. For years I have asked for a plain cheese burger for my daughter nothing but the bun, burger & cheese. Nothing else. Simple enough? Not a chance rarely right in the 21 yrs my daughter has been alive. Finally time to say so.

My daughter is recovering from a concussion and all she felt hungry for was a Mcgriddle from McDonald's. I left this morning and arrived at McDonald's drive-through at 10 o'clock. There were only two cars ahead of me in my lane. I waited for 30 minutes to get up to the speaker. As soon as I pulled up to the speaker, the menu flickered and changed to lunch as it was exactly 1030. I immediately let them know that I've been in line for 30 minutes for breakfast, and that it had just flipped over as soon as I pulled up to the speaker. They told me that that was unfortunate and they apologized, but they would not serve me breakfast. I asked them if they could make an exception in my case as it was a one second difference, as the person in front of me had just ordered breakfast. They would not. This was the weekend on a Sunday and their hours said that they serve breakfast on the weekends until 11 AM… That is pretty terrible customer service.

Twenty minutes to get the worst americano coffee ever. I got number 254; when it was my turn, the guy at the front desk just shouted out something uncomprehensible without calling my number. Then why the hell do you put a number on the receipt… More than 10 people working in the kitchen and a complete inability to meet the customer needs. I’m absolutely not used to bad reviews. I think this is my first on google, but I couldn’t avoid it. Sorry.

I went here for breakfast at 9:30 ish. This McDonalds was one of the best I've ever been to in my life . The food was cooked correctly, it was fast, the staff didn't look like they wanted to die, like many other fast food places. Also the tables and such were clean and modern. I almost forgot that it was McDonald's. My only criticism is that they didn't have bagel breakfast sandwiches, which I now understand may be a regional thing. Also, I don't feel like depression and anguish personified, which usually comes on strong and ruins my day (and my bowels) after eating fast food. So it's a big plus.

Asked nicely for ketchup and we got the drive through window shut right in our face and Not a thank you from this young girl. I guess I can’t blame her. Every restaurant outside of Yosemite closes early and they all seem understaff. No starts for customer service for sure.
