My preferred McDonalds in Torrington - always fast and friendly service with less of a line, and always clean/nicely decorated. Can always get 20-30% off your whole order too if you use the app deals.

Walked in. Waited at the register and was never acknowledged. Went to the kiosk to order. The ENTIRE time the staff was standing around in a circle talking. An older woman was waiting at the counter. She must have waited for 5 minutes before someone finally came to take her order.

Pretty much forgets the sauce, napkins, straws every time I order…I regret it and go back a few months later but things never change. Worst staff imaginable for the last 2 years.

Mcdonalds has really gone down hill. Go ahead and try to order a meal without a upcharge of some kind. Ill stick to Applebees right next door. It's about the same cost.

The two Fish-O-Filets we had at this McDonalds today were perfect. Crispy, fresh, hot fish; warm soft bun and cream of tartar sauce and melted cheese. Not my usual order, my partner had a coupon for two of them and asked me if I wanted to get one with him while in this Torrington Plaza. I'd read online from McDonalds employees surveyed, the fish sandwich was probably the last thing to order since they didn't sell as much as other sandwiches and often just sit under lamps all day, as a result. Considering this, I was curious to try one and as I just wrote, both of them were perfect. Maybe they're moving faster right now as they're on sale at two for six in our area, anyway. We enjoy and use the the $1, $2, $3 menu, too, and also bought two double cheeseburgers @$2.00 each to bring home. Eating less fast food right now, but there's a place and time for it that will always be welcome whether on the road, short on time, with kids, or simply in the mood. When it's done right, it rarely disappoints.
