McDonald's

So let me first say that the customer service here varies wildly with time of day: the breakfast crew do a mostly acceptable job, the lunch and dinner crew phone it in as hard as ppssible. They raise the bar in how bad it can get. Let's talk about my experiences at this location, although there's not a good location I've found anywhere in Colorado Springs. How about the photos I've attached? Notice the cheese isn't melted? That's because the patty was cold. “Fresh” quarter pounder patty was cold, and tge entire sandwich was served cold. But hey, I actually have McDonald's crew member experience and know that there's a step before setting the product in the hot holding area where the sandwich is microwaved to final temperature. Missed a step, I guess. Also, with a temperature of maybe 50°f the patty was in the danger zone so the food can't possibly be getting held at a safe temperature. So here's something fun I noticed once as I stood at at the counter waiting about five minutes to buy a drink (I just wanted a drink, only had cash) before someone asked if I had an online order: the person not correctly wearing a uniform, with more than one set of gloves (obvious because of the blue visible along with the clear ones), lazily setting a poorly wrapped McChicken into the hot holding area. Mind you, the reason it was poorly wrapped is because this person couldn't be bothered to set down the iced coffee which would get a casual sip while this person was preparing the food. I could go on, but there's a limit to how long these reviews are allowed to be.

We placed a very large order for a team of children and were missing two combo meals out of the order. My husband called and let them know the night it happened. He told them I would be in to pick up what was missing in a few days. Called today 6 times before I showed up, and no one answered. (and no, they weren't busy, 5 workers were just standing around the register when I got there) Finally just drove to their store to get the missing orders. The lady manager (I think she was a manager) was rude and acted like I was maybe lying and seemed bothered. Received the orders and the fries were cold and stale, and I know it was done on purpose. Finally learned a lesson to just never go back to that location. There are ALWAYS problems and food missing.

Mainly I just wanted to add more pictures of the playground, as you can see it's been replaced. I went to this McDonald's because I saw some really cool photos of the playplace on Google maps, but this is the current playground (as of January 2023) I gave this McDonald's 3 stars because the customer service was horrible and the lobby was dirty. Oh yeah, and they got my order wrong too.

Don't even bother coming here it's trash. The doors are all locked at 5 pm and there's kids in the playroom. I've been waiting in the drive thru for like 30 minutes now and they're only using one window instead of two. There's so many people behind me. It's been 50 minutes now. 👎

I just visited this lovely McDonald’s and when ordering from the drive thru, I was distraught by the rude customer service I encountered. The young Latina female with long black hair was exceptionally rude , no greeting or nothing! Just a “ when you’re ready “ and then when I got to the window, the woman with the curly blue hair and cheap eyelashes was also very rude. However the visit was saved by the manager, she was extremely polite and pleasant!
