Today I went to Lowes. It was a very pleasant trip. Went in because I have a fire ant problem. They had so many products to choose from. As I began looking I was approached by a Lowes customer care associate. He asked me questions like where the nest was and did I have pets and other questions. He helped me make the best choice for the situation. I was glad I had help because I had no idea on what to get. After I got the product I needed just went around looking at things for future house projects. I have to say the store was beautifully stocked and it was cool to see all the new things to keep your home looking great. My cashier I had was friendly and so nice. The whole process of going to Lowes was great! Now on to tackle those fire ants!
I looked for paint today, talked to the guy in that dept, asked him about paint I found and he said it would work for me. I went to checkout, no one so I went to selfcheck, it didn’t work so an associate said it wouldn’t scan to take it to customer service. The woman there said she couldn’t sell it to me cause it rang up 2 cents,so I brought her the box it was in and it had upc code and price $4.98 , I told her I would pay the amount shown but she insisted so she had the manager come to tell me they were doing inventory, so they could not sell it, this was a paint for Christmas holiday, I told her if it wasn’t for sale, they should take it off shelf or put a sign saying not for sale. I left there and paid for some at home depot , they were glad to take my money and friendly also
THIS STORE ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!! YOU ASK TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND THEY PUT YOU IN THE CONTINUOUS MUSIC HOLD - WHICH MEANS ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IS GOING TO PICK UP THE PHONE!
WENT TO THIS STORE, FOUND A GRILL ON SALE - WILL NOT SELL FLOOR MODEL (had none in stock). SO SALES PERSON WENT ONLINE, FOUND ONE IN STOCK IN BATON ROUGE! GET TO BR, FLOOR MODEL (says Regular price) OH GO OUTSIDE TO THE SECOND FLOOR MODEL - PROCE JUMPS UP $300 MORE THAN THE INSIDE FLOOR MODEL! GET TO THE REGISTER, NOT TGE SALE PRICE AS ONE IN HAMMOND!
YOUR COMMUNICATION SUCKS 100%!
WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO BE TOLD THAT LOWES DOES NOT MATCH PRICES AT THEIR OTHER STORES BEFORE I DROVE ACROSS COUNTRY TO PURCHASE THE ITEM!
SO YOU LOST A SALE - STEINS HAS WAY BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE, PEOPLE ACTUALLY WALK UP TO HELP YOU, INSTEAD OF THE CUSTOMER HAVING TO SEARCH FOR AN EMPLOYEE! OH AND THEY SELL YOU FLOOR MODELS IF NONE IN STOCK!
Went to return a $4.00 item. Was told i couldn't because I paid cash and had no receipt. The new system wouldn't let them. I told her her new system just lost a customer and i will go to Home Depot. I spent $50. there today.
If I could give negative stars I would. I have been calling since 10:30 this morning 9/25/23 its now 12:45. I have either been hung up on, they never answered the phone or I was transferred and left on hold for over 20 minutes at a time. Finally when I did get to speak to someone (Danny in appliances) He was no help! He transferred me to a manager and guess what they never picked up!! I purchased a GE dryer on 5/7/2023 ( 5 months ago) it's now broke! Went through the entire protocol to still be without a dryer now for 5 weeks.. I would not recommend Lowes, Cone (appliance technician) or GE.
