Loggerhead's Beach Grill

I decided to check out the Loggerhead Beach grill as it’s in walking distance of my Air B&B. I could hear the music from the outdoor seating area and was happy to find outdoor seating and live music. Even on a Monday night, the place was busy. But it is summer time at the beach. 🤣 I ate ate the bar outside (there is also a bar and plenty of seating outside). They have a great cocktail menu and lots of beer to choose from, including a local brew -Loggerhead. According to the couple sitting next to me, it was a great beer. I went with the Ocean Potion. A blue coconut rum and pineapple drink. I wasn’t super hungry so I just had the crab dip. It was pretty tasty. Then I had key lime pie for dessert, which was delicious. The service was friendly and good. Overall, a fun environment, great beach restaurant.

Loved it! Every meal was spot on. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere? PERFECT! First time in, first place we chose, and we'll be back before our tires hit the bridge!

We met here for our first date. It was a great place for a first date - great laid-back setting, not too loud, not too quiet, a fun place to hang out. We went back on New Year's Eve and had a great time again. Then we went back for our one year anniversary, and it was awesome again. You can count on us being back (at least once) every year from now on! Your deck, sitting at one of the table by the railing, is on our list of favorite places.

Awesome atmosphere with great appetizers, cocktails and music! Love this place! It's always fun to visit here!

Loggerhead's is a must-visit on Folly Beach! Off the main road a few blocks, there's usually a better chance of getting in during crowded times. The food is delicious and the staff is awesome. The owners are frequently at the restaurant working or socializing and clearly have their customers in mind. Highly recommended for small groups, families, and beach-goers who want a quick lunch, a long dinner, or some drinks with friends. I might be a bit biased, having worked here for several summers in the past as a host, but it truly is one of my favorite places to eat at when I'm back in town visiting family.
