Las Cancelas

Great service, but the food was not to my expectations, would not recommend in all honesty (this review pertains to the restaurant only).

Food was alright, enjoyed some great croquetas but was a bit disappointed in the chuletón. Would recommend eating elsewhere if you are looking for that dish in particular.

El Patio del Catedral restaurant was excellent, and dog-friendly! We had the ensalada de ventresca con anchoas, alcachofas y pimiento de piquillo, and the goat cheese salad with caramelized tomato, and the foie Gras with apple and raisin toasts. Everything was divine and the service was quick and attentive.

Food was very good and service was just right but the water glasses were foisty (look it up) and the staff seemed unconcerned - it spoiled an otherwise good meal.

Lovely back dining room. Beautiful. Good food. Huge servings. Efficient staff. Try the fried milk dessert. The white asparagus was unbelievable. I've never seen such thick asparagus. Salad was delicious. Veal in rum sauce was great.
