La Casa de las Empanadas

It is a store that has a bit of everything in terms of food, it opens on Sundays. The empanadas are all delicious, the octopus spectacular. Homemade bread like from the village, delicious too. All very well priced.

They charged us on Thursday, August 3, for an empanada de millo with scallops, 53 euros. It seemed very expensive at the time, but since we were from outside Galicia we did not want to say anything. We have been consulting with friends and family in the area and they had never heard such nonsense for an empanada, so that is why I am writing this comment. I don't know if they saw us as tourists or what, but they charged us double or so the normal amount. A shame.
