Hunter's Ace Hardware

Hunter’s Ace Hardware is a wonderful store. Very well laid out and easy to find merchandise you are looking for. The staff a super friendly and willing to help you out! I love shopping there!

Ace WAS the place with the helpful hardware man! I went into Hunter’s Ace Hardware, a man asked what I was looking for? He pointed, said over there and went back to watching the football game on the overhead TV. Ace Hardware has never been cheap but had always been so friendly and helpful that people went there anyway. Well, the prices are the same but apparently the friendly, helpful service, is a thing of the past. Also, “after” I was in there, I read many of the reviews, a gentleman gave his opinion on his experience and the (owner) took twice as much space slamming the customer because he didn’t like the review.

First, I should mention that I have only ordered for pickup from the store as most of what I have needed or wanted wasn't in stock anywhere near me. This store is amazing when it comes to customer service. I have ordered four or five items from the website for pickup and every time but one, I got a call from a staff member of the store as well as the generic email (I always get the email) saying my order was ready for pickup. Additionally, when I walked in, I would see employees helping point people in the right direction or explaining more about products. It's the little things the employees do that bump it up to five stars. Also, their prices are comparable to others, and really good if you sign up for their rewards program and get the coupons included with it. I have bought several Craftsman and Dramm tools from them that were $10-$30 cheaper than competitors online or local. Unfortunately, the coupons can't be used on sale items, but usually their sales are actual good deals.

Great and friendly staff,will always choose Hunters Ace over any of the big stores. Found what I needed and was out of there super quick. Always recommend this to store to my friends and fam

Ace is the worst hardware store. They never have common parts for plumbing and if they do they’ll have one in stock. They’re the dollar tree of hardware stores but only in the sense that they have the most random assortment of products. Management needs to focus on keeping the store stocked with actual hardware and not all the frills people don’t go to a hardware store for.
