Food was M I D, big portions but slightly warm. Prices were normal just rather had hot. The waitress was nice just wish she was a tad bit more attentive.
This specific Hooters had sticky tables, my booth seats were tore, and the for the tvs some were newer and some were really old. I ordered a 20-piece Buffalo shrimp with a yuengling draft beer. The shrimp was extremely hot in some places and cold in others. My beer tasted really off, and I did not finish it. Waitress was kind. It's not a place I would recommend at this time
Earlier this evening today was when my husband and I agreed to try some food for pickup from this Hooters location in the Military Highway area of Norfolk Virginia. Someone at my current place of employment mentioned about this place having some good food and the way he praised the food eventually piqued my curiosity. My husband and I ordered among the following items: a 20 piece smoked wings order of the lemon pepper flavor, 10 piece garlic parmesan naked wings and the onion rings from the "teaser" section of the online menu. The employee giving us our order for pickup was friendly and we received our pickup order in a faster than expected timeframe. My husband and I both found the onion rings to be very delish with my husband favoring the taste of the garlic parmesan naked wings while I favored the smoked lemon pepper wings. The taste of the food made the order worth the price of the money I paid for the food. With humble gratitude, I admit that I was luckily able to easily pay for the food with money from my current place of employment.
I aite at this location recently. I was seated within minutes of walking in the door. Mckenna was the waitress where I was sitting. I ordered Wings, Fries, Jack, and Coke. I had the Jack and Coke at the table shortly after I ordered. Probably the weakest drink I had ever had. I'm not even sure there was Jack in it. When my food arrived at my table, the wings were good; they were supposed to be Lemmon Pepper; however, there was minimal seasoning. It was cooked well; it just lacked the ordered seasoning. The fries were undercooked, some raw. I ordered two other drinks while sitting; one was their 11-dollar margarita with what seemed to be no alcohol in it. The other was their 8-dollar one. And by now, I should have expected Kool-Aid, but I didn't learn. Lol moral of the story is that service is excellent, food is decent if thoroughly cooked, and drinks are nonalcoholic at alcoholic prices lol
We were thrilled to get seated immediately but it didn't look like the area had been cleaned so we asked if it could be cleaned again. Got shown right back to the table with a bunch of french fries, crayons, and crumbs still in the booth. After seeing the standard of clean we decided to go somewhere else for dinner. Everyone we interacted with was nice and it was a busy night.
