Hooters

I waited at the door several minutes before somebody actually noticed I was there. When they saw me, they kept on with what they were doing, and it was several more minutes before they asked me to have a seat. The place was not full or crowded, and there were several servers on the floor. My server was training another server who just followed her around and watched everything she did. The server did not give the trainee any jobs like filling drinks or anything other than just watching her. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a side salad. The server asked what dressing would you like with the salad and blue cheese or ranch with the sandwich. I said blue cheese with both. The salad came out, and it had large chunks of lettuce from the core. The lettuce was all chunked together, and I had to cut it apart with a knife. When the sandwich arrived, it had a heavy coating of buffalo sauce. The buffalo sauce was overpowering. The chicken breast was moist and tasted good. I finished my sandwich before my server ever came to check on my empty iced tea. I asked for the check, and it took the server a while to bring it. I waited several minutes with the card on the table before they came back to collect my payment. When I was in the car looking at the receipt, I saw that they had charged me for the blue cheese on the chicken sandwich. When I ordered the sandwich, the server asked if I wanted ranch or blue cheese like it was an option and never mentioned it was an upcharge. I used to eat at Hooters weekly in Casselberry and Miami. I have not been to a Hooter’s in 20 years and see no reason to return.

Hooters is a pretty solid experience. The service is always fantastic and the girls are always there with a smile. The food is pretty darn good as well. I've never had a bad experience here no matter what I've had or who my server was. That seems like a pretty rare thing.

Wonderful experience at Hooters during the Hooters and hot rods event. The grilled wings were amazingly juicy and flavorful with plenty of hot sauce. The french fries were fresh and tasty without being greasy. The service was attentive without being obtrusive. But the hot rods and cars on display stole the show. I highly recommend this event to anyone who has appreciation for internal combustion engine driven vehicles.

The food was good but it took forever to come out even though there were only two other tables in the place. The service was lousy. The girl who ran our food had to bring us forks. Our server stood in the kitchen corner most of the time. We had to wait ten minutes after we were done eating for her to come so we could ask for our checks. We're all service industry people, so she lost out.

We stopped in for a late lunch. The inside was about half full and decked out with the usual decor and plenty of TVs playing sports. We ordered 20 wings (bone-in) 10 breaded with Daytona sauce and 10 Spicy Garlic. We also ordered the waffles fries. The waffles fries came out hard, we asked to have them swapped for curly fries which the server did at no extra cost. The wings were fried crispy but spicier than I last remembered but still tasty. I ran out of ranch halfway through my wings I really wish they would offer more ranch for 10 wings. The curly fries were fresh and not hard. Overall a good experience will likely visit again
