Hooters

Went with my friend Nicole K. I got a double-burger with caramelized onions, cheese, and crisp bacon. I got the Hooters Daytona Beach sauce on side due to my health regulations with spicy things. It was delicious. My friend got something called the Hooters Buffalo Platter. It had chicken tenders, bone in chicken wings, and shrimp. Despite the name you could get whatever kind of sauce/dry rub you.wanted on it

Used to frequent here years ago and I've always enjoyed Hooter's wings. Went out of my way just to have lunch one day. I can't say it was terrible or that I will never try again, but I will have to be in the area. I was disappointed in the price and especially with the drumstick on the left pictured below that was not offered to be replaced until I sent it back to the Cook as I paid the bill and left.

I can’t say I have eaten here too often lately…growing up I definitely visited because they were one of the few places you could get wings. Hooters is nostalgic, and because of that nostalgia I decided to give them a recent try. I ordered a combination with wings, boneless wings and fried shrimp, I also ordered the pretzels and cheese. This was a delivery order and food is not always as fresh when you get it as it would be if you sat down, however, the breading was thick and lacked any texture other than soggy. The flavor was there… But the breading destroyed the integrity. The pretzel and cheese was absolutely fantastic. I was shocked to enjoy this as much as I did hence why I’m giving it a three star instead of a one. The pretzel was so soft it was more of a bread while the cheese was perfectly melted and remained so while I nibbled on it throughout the afternoon. Plenty of salt and flavor and I will absolutely be stopping in just for this appetizer. I honestly got what I expected though the wings were not ones I think I will ever crave again, the nostalgia can stay in the past. Though, the pretzel and cheese will give me a reason to go again. Who would’ve thought?

Currently sitting here. I ordered a non alcoholic beer. I was trying to get another one but the bartender I believe her name is ariele. Absolutely never came back I sat at the bar 15 minutes watching her eat and go in the back walk by a million times and not one time asked if I needed anything. I was going to order food but she never returned until I had to leave. Was waiting for my bill and maybe some service…… very disappointed. I know it’s a non alcoholic so maybe that was it and that I’m a female. The males seemed to get amazing service as I watched from afar. I won’t be back.
