Hooters

I've been eating at Hooters since the 80s. The service here was "old school" excellent. The waitresses were outgoing and friendly. The food was also excellent. I think it was some of the best Hooter's wings have had in many many many years. They reminded me of why I started eating them. The Hot and Daytona sauced wings were wet, and the batter was crispy. The food was amazing. Upfront caveat: party of 4 all over the age of 40 but 1 person forgot his wallet at the house an hour away. We had a copy of the id on his phone. The waitress refused to serve alcohol. We asked to speak to the manager and he held strong. It’s our fault but hell we don’t even get carded at the liquor store anymore because we are old as dirt. Despite this we ordered an appetizer. Appetizer was delivered but no plates or ranch. Also ordered a water that was never delivered. The place was empty on national champion game night. We closed the check and took business to BWW up the road and spent our money.

I don't usually leave reviews but I felt the need this time.. my wings were absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection (I got them extra crispy) and man does it make a difference. My girlfriends slider combo was great too! The country fried manager (I don't mean that offensively in any way) needs a raise ASAP! I've been to this establishment 3 times and every time he is always a massive help and extremely friendly and professional. I will definitely be back!

Our server was very nice , but service was very slow ( not sure it was her fault). Took a long time to get our food. Found out the kitchen staff took a 25 min. Break while we were waiting on a to go order that we had ordered once we got our meal. . Food was very good though. Server did not keep a check to see if we needed anything. She did say she was new. I still would eat there again, but only if we had plenty of time to wait.

Fish was great. Salad 🥗 was gross...bag lettuce. Yuk yuk yuk. Not many patrons, shoe stuck to floor so not very clean. One server preferred to talk to the male guests and ignore the patrons.😳😣🤬
