Honda

Took our car in for service. It needed a new chip and wasn’t driving well. I felt at ease when we walked in as the place seemed quite professional and competent. Unfortunately, our service rep was quite terrible. He made several promises to update me but only did so after I continually nagged him. I just wanted to know what the status was but was frequently ignored. Ultimately, I got the car back in working order about a month later. I think his Honda location is actually very professional and competent. We just had bad luck because Ernesto was our customer service rep. If you need service at Honda and Ernesto is the one helping you, ask for someone else and your experience should be 10/10.

How is the service so bad? The whole point of going to a dealership is you're paying a premium for better service, no? Yet for a simple diagnostic they kept telling us 'tomorrow', 'tomorrow' for about two weeks before giving a baloney list of errors and no estimation at being able to fix any of it.

Very poor customer service. They tried to sell me additional services which when I asked for pictures of the supposed issue suddenly disappeared. Once they handed me over the car, no one showed me what was done. Go elsewhere!

I only wanted an oil change; however, the service representative said the computer doesn't allow him to choose only an oil change, hence the minimum was a 10,000 km service. I'll be going elsewhere for future oil changes.
