Hitchcock Shoes

Ordered "3e" wide shoes from the store I was disappointed to receive shoes that were more narrow than my conventionally sized Walmart shoes. I understand being responsible for return shipping on things that don't fit but this feels like a scam and false advertising. How are you going to call a shoe extra wide when it isn't even as wide as a regular shoe. I emailed them hoping that they would rectify the situation because it was obvious that the shoe was not as wide as advertised but was met with the policy of customers being responsible for return shipping. Not impressed. I would highly recommend ordering from a different company. Had phenomenal experiences with other companies.

Wow!! What a great experience. This very kind woman named Ina literally saved my (very, very wide) feet and saved me money too. I'm going on a trip overseas in a few days and my initial Allen Edmonds order did not fit because who really makes 5E shoes. I had no backup plan until I saw Hitchcock on the web and they came through for me. My first set of Oxfords fit but my other dress down set did not which was totally my fault. Ina put an end to my troubles! I did an exchange, got new shoes sent to me as quick as they can offer (they shipped them today for tomorrow) and didn't have to talk to ten people to get it done. Very polite and professional! An absolutely amazing customer experience from my end. I don't think I can ever buy shoes from anyone else. Fellow big foot people of the world--gather here and buy shoes!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS ONLINE STORE! I have wide feet and have trouble finding shoes. I try most everything. I ordered two pair from them then tried to return a $59 pair which did not fit. Return shipping was $44 with UPS. I paid only $16 to ship both pair to me. Customer responsible for return shipping. They offered no assistance via the telephone call either.

I bought my first shoes from Hitchcock Shoes when I was 19. Prior to discovering them, all shoes hurt my feet. I am now 72 and have been a lifelong satisfied customer. My feet thank you for ALWAYS supplying me with comfort!

Poor customer service. Purchased a pair of Hitchcock brand sneakers very low quality. And after about three months of light to normal use the paper thin lining on both sneakers ripped. Since I paid over $100 for the sneakers, I called Hitchcock. They asked me to send them pictures and complete their return form, which I did. They wanted me to ship back the sneakers at my own expense, and only then would they determine if they would give me a new pair provide some type of partial refund. I!. the pictures I emailed to them clearly showed lightly used sneakers with ripped linings. I asked them why we were even having this discussion on a pair of sneakers that were purchased three months ago? Anyway, simple decision for me, bye-bye Hitchcock I guess I should’ve read the other reviews.
