Harbor Freight Tools

I went to this Harbor Freight this afternoon. It went well. The staff here was friendly and helpful. I needed some grinding and cut-off wheels as well as some flux core wire for my gasless mig welder. The good news is they actually have my disposable gloves I usually use in stock now-a-days. Overall, this is one of the better Harbor Freight stores I have gone to. It is clean and located just off of route 6, allowing for easy in and out as far as traffic goes.

Great deals if you have their email service and credit card! I usually find everything I need and the store is usually fully stocked! The staff is usually courteous and helpful!

Terrible inventory and lazy staff (the girl at the register was very nice). I went in at 5:05 today to buy 2 toolboxes and a gun case, about $1200 worth of stuff. First they didn’t have any of one of the boxes I wanted in any color even though their online inventory said they should. Then the second box they only had in one color, which is fine, I’d settle for that, so the girl at the register radios the back to have them load it with the forklift into my pickup. They radio back “it’s too late, have him come back tomorrow.” Are you serious? Guess This location doing so well it doesn’t need or want my business. I’ve never had such a hard time trying to spend $1200 at a store. I then drove all the way to the Waterbury location and got there 20 minutes before they closed and they had all the colors in stock and loaded it for me no problem. They agreed with me that the staff in the back of the Bristol store was being lazy because it took about 4 minutes for them to come out and load it and I was out in 10 total minutes. You guys need to do better, especially in this economy, when people are trying to spend their hard earned money. I’ll take my personal business and my company business elsewhere in the future.

I love this store. Very organized and well stocked. I went there for a heavy duty fan. I didn't see any where it was supposed to be. I asked and they said we have some in back. The staff has changed over the years but they have always been helpful and pleasant. It's always good to check around because you will find things to buy. The sale prices are great. Over the years I have bought a jack, leaf blower, pole saw and many other small items. I have always been happy.

Every time I've been here the staff have been very friendly and helpful. Whatever they're doing for their employees its working. Home Depot should take note. Definitely read reviews on any Harbor Freight product before buying. They still do have some quality tools that will last. My impact wrench is still going strong after 7 years of heavy use.
