Harbor Freight Tools

I had an excellent experience at harbor freight on 12-10-23 and it really made my day! My husband and myself went in to purchase a larger Christmas item for a family member which I had discovered on the app had gone on sale for $45.00 off their original price. It was a larger item so I had a purchase ticket in my hand which I had been holding for a while as my husband and I continued to shop when we went to check out we had quite a few items in our basket and just as I put the credit card in the machine, I realized I still had the ticket in my hand which I had forgotten to give the cashier. I was upset at myself for forgetting but the awesome cashier (Eva) was very friendly about it and since my credit card had not yet engaged she cancelled the payment for me and rang up the item. But not only that while we finished the transaction I was telling her we had purchased this same item the month before for our own use and How I wished I had waited because that was a big savings. She looked up the item on the computer that I previously purchased and we ended up also getting that item for the sale price which I am ecstatic about. She then asked if we had any harbor freight money by chance and I had $10.00 in my wallet that I had forgotten to give her also and so she was beyond helpful to us. I Love giving kudo's to employees who go above and beyond. I made sure to check her name tag so I could recognize her here by name and saw on her name tag that she is a manager there. So I hope that her boss in the corporate office realizes that they have a gem working at their store. I Love supporting businesses who have friendly helpful employees, I am much more likely to spend money more often at businesses that I enjoy shopping at especially when their employees go the extra mile. Thank You Eva!!!!

Generally I can find what I need here and the prices are pretty good. Harbor Freight really does carry quality reliable tools and items. The main drawback here for me are the employees. I understand they are underpaid and the store stays pretty busy but, man oh man are the employees grumpy! I can tolerate their attitudes and lack of wanting to help customers, but it really does take away from the pleasure of shopping here. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve seen many different employees working here and it just seems like they are not at all willing to go out of their way to help. Even the simplest questions or request for assistance seems to frustrate them. I know nothing will be done about this, but this is just a warning to whoever reads this. You may get lucky with a nice employee, but don’t plan on it.

Eva at the store is amazing in customer service. She suggested items that I needed that saved me time. She showed me how to save money and was extremely friendly. Thank you Eva!

Wow the staff here is so nice. i am amazed how happy they are to help with all of the crazy stuff that they go through every day.. 5 star people and customer service.. The person who hire's the staff here is picking some really good people. thank you guys..!!!
