Ron was straightforward with me, didn’t try to hustle me to buy anything. He recommended that I start eating more in general before I start taking any protein supplements.
Dude with ponytail refused to sell me an energy drink because it would “hurt his average” poor customer service. If I could put zero stars I would. Get a better rep
I have been going here for years! Ron always takes the time to explain the products to me and give me his recommendations. He has never steered me wrong! I have gone to other GNCs closer to my home, but his customer service is top notch, so I will continue to see him.
6/10/2021 I called this location to verify they had a certain product. The associate was helpful and volunteered to put a couple away until I get off of work. I provided my name and telephone number. I arrived around 6:30pm and there was a sign stating they were closed due to a family emergency. I wouldn’t have been upset but my vehicle was being serviced and I had to catch an Uber that costed me $25. When I call to speak to someone about this I got the owner who accused me of lying because “someone closed setting the alarm” Now what he fails to realize is I called the store when I got back home 6:50ish close to 7pm and someone answered stating they came from the Shawnee Mission location due to the original associate’s wife was in a car accident. The arrogance of the owner is the reason I’ll NEVER do business again with any GNC!! He’s rude and doesn’t even know what’s going on in his own establishment. He’s a real CLOWN!
Had to deal with an INCREDIBLY rude and confrontational employee when trying to make a simple return. I bought the wrong flavor and never opened the product. I simply wanted to exchange for the right flavor and I did have my receipt from 1 day earlier. The employee (Sunday evening) said I HAD to provide my email address and ALL personal information. Not just show it for ID purposes but allow it to all be input into their system (unless he wanted it for some other purpose). I told him I didn’t want to give it just for an exchange and he became VERY rude and short with me. Even said “Jesus” in an exasperated tone. I assume he gets some kind of bonus for signing people up on an email list? Well it won’t be me since I sure as heck didn’t give him accurate info. I’ll be buying the products somewhere else.
