The owner is an Ankeny high school graduate! I try to shop and support our local businesses when ever I can. Employees were very helpful and I will definitely be back.

My wife and I went in Saturday night. We were looking for something specific. We had gone to 2 other nutrition stores across the street. We left feeling less then. We tried GNC. AJ was working he was fantastic! He not only answered our questions he explained things completely. Helped us find exactly what we were looking for. He didn't try to up sell anything. He gave honest advice. Even gave me a few samples. We were truly impressed and will definitely be back. Great store. Knowledgeable staff. With so many of these types of stores popping up its good to go to a tried and true location.

The gentleman working at GNC is always friendly and knowledgeable about the products offered. He was able to make recommendations based on what we were looking for and not only did we get exactly what we wanted, we got a great deal going with the GNC brand (which is the exact same as the name brand stuff, just cheaper). This is our go-to store for our protein powder needs.

I stopped by to check out vitamins and supplements for men. The store clerk asked if I needed help. I said I was browsing and looked for a minute. Then I asked for some help with men’s supplements. He basically said well it’s right there, and pointed at the display in front of me that I had clearly been looking at already for 5 minutes. I asked several questions about their affectiveness and he got defensive and was rude the entire time. He pointed at stuff and told me to figure it out essentially. I was the only one in the store and he wouldn’t walk ten feet around the counter to help me until I asked about 7 questions. If you don’t want my business and your prices are outrageous - why would I go here?? I’ll give you a hint - I won’t.

Every time I come in I have a great experience the customer service is incredible and they are very helpful.
