I tried. The only reason to go to this store is if it's the closest one to you, and by that I mean you literally live next door. There's a very good chance that nobody will actually be at the store. They make sure to leave a note though, letting you know that yes they are supposed to be open. They just felt like taking a break, which is fine. Have someone cover their shift.
if you're so understaffed that you cannot keep the store open, you should not tell people the store's open. Just close.
It’s always closed even though it’s supposed to be open. They leave a not on the door saying that they will be back in 5-10 minutes but no one comes. I’ve checked 3 times and its the same thing don’t lose your time
They had standard stock of the usual GNC but I bought these energy drinks for $5 each and I think they were spoiled, maybe from storage. It tasted pretty terrible and then I got really sick. I called to ask if they had it before I went in and the phone conversation was really short and unfriendly.
Do not shop here. The only person working there, will judge you and, in my experience, not even sell you something. I came in looking for some creatine powder and some test boosters. He told me "Do not put any of this garbage in your body, whats wrong with you" and refused to sell me ANYTHING that was in the store. Instead I went to the GNC on North Avenue where I had a good experience with people who were actually looking to sell me the sups I wanted. Avoid the GNC on Chicago at all costs unless you wanted to be treated with no respect and feel like a 3 year old trying to buy cigarettes. Worst GNC Experience.
I read the first review and want to respond to it. There is a NEW Manager running the store now. The Manager that works there now will go above and beyond to help you. So give it one more try and see.
Thanks
J
