Fresko La Comer Palmilla

Fresco is a great place to shop. We even found the piggy cookies my wife loves to eat. The steaks are great, especially the prime ground beef. There are many stations with bakeries, fish, meat, cheese or. more. Good prices. Tina is there to assist you with your shopping needs. Fast checkouts and friendly staff!

UNSAFE. I was just assaulted by a couple inside the Fresko Supermarket in the fruit and vegetable section ( 2PM on a Tuesday). I was able to catch the thief in the act and struggled with him to recover my wallet, he finally let go because of my yelling for help and security. He walked away with his shopping cart into the aisles. The most disappointing part of this incident was that there was a security agent no more than 5 feet away and at least 3-4 employees only steps away - yet no-one did anything. I continued to call for help and followed the thief through the aisles pointing him out to employees and security and again ... NO HELP AT ALL. Feeling completely violated, unsafe I decided to leave Fresko for my own safety , ran to my car and drove home. DO NOT carry large handbag, leave unattended, talk with strangers nor rely on security for your safety.

This is my updated review as of August 25th. I love to buy my produce from this supermarket but for the last few weeks I have eaten bad products from them. First is the Chobani- spoiled and expired. Then the organic free range eggs, one of the bunch is bad and has red blood. Today, the frozen tuna bad as well, after cooking it with just olive oil and garlic, the fish itself is bad and this weird taste. I am very disappointed, from now on I’m going to Costco instead as strongly suggested by our friend who he lived in Cabo for many years. Based on our experience Costco products are same quality as the ones in the US.

Very clean and well organized. Had everything we needed, and it was a great shopping experience.

Very nice grocery store with huge selection of products that us foreigners from America can enjoy as well as the Mexican community.
