Flooring America - Mason City

Absolutely the easiest and most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had with a home improvement project! Mike is very good at what he does and knew just how to guide me through the process of choosing my new carpet. A couple of friends used Flooring America to get both carpet and laminate throughout their entire house and it looked so good we decided to pull the trigger on redoing our kitchen flooring. We decided on a sheet vinyl (very 90’s I know but it’s what best fit our home situation) and it turned out killer! Just amazingly different! A completely new feel! Very well done and was installed quickly. Here are a couple before and after pics.

We were doing a complete home remodel/addition and I needed to get flooring lined up, so I stopped in to Flooring America in November to see what they had. I was very impressed by the brands they carried, the number of samples and the affordable price ranges! Mindi Martinson was wonderful! She was very professional, knowledgeable and so helpful. I was very specific on the color I had in mind and price range. Mindi helped me find some great samples to take home and try. I ended up going with the Karastan Refined Forest Collection in Fawn. We love it. It is excellent quality at an affordable price. It has beautiful, real-looking grain, a matte finish which is fabulous and does not show dirt and feels good to walk on with bare feet! I cannot say enough about this flooring. Our installer, Brian Sliger was great. He was very professional and so easy to be around. He kept me informed of any concerns that he had. Our house is older and with a new addition, there were some challenges with uneven spots. Brian took his time and worked very hard at making the floor perfect. And that’s how it looks! We have gotten so many compliments already. Mindi and Brian made this part of our remodel go so smoothly and I cannot thank them enough! We highly recommend going to Flooring America in Mason City!

We stopped in the store back in December so that we could pick out flooring for two whole levels of our home. We were looking at luxury vinyl for our main level kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, and living area. In the 2 bedrooms, stairs, and the 2 bedrooms upstairs we chose carpet. Dan helped us choose what would work the best and came to measure for us. James came and did a fantastic job for us in March. He takes pride in his work and that meant a lot to us. Overall a great experience!

Very happy with my experience at Flooring America and our rep Daniel Miller was so easy to work with and ensured this was all a great experience. We were the first to use this color of flooring and it worked out great! Very happy!
