My son has been at Nelson’s Martial Arts for over three years, starting when he was 6-years-old. Master Sid Nelson and Mr. Jones have done a great job building a strong body and mind, as well as his leadership ability. Seeing our son’s progression of skills has been great to watch as he continues to build his strength and coordination. We like the flexible schedule of being able to attend any day of the week. Nelson’s getting started special is a cost effective way to let your child explore martial arts. Definitely worth the try! We are very excited to see our son reach his goal of black belt soon! We are so proud of his hard work and commitment.

Love this school. The instructions are amazing and talented. Every one is passionate about martial arts and it makes for the best learning environment. They cover not only traditional taekwondo but also incorporate elements karate and self defense. Bonus: they teach adults with no experience and promote inclusivity. Again, awesome school. After 6 months training at Nelson's karate, my 10 year-old old daughter could easily kill two grown men with a golf cart pencil. Tried Premier Martial Arts first, but it's a franchise system that trains it's instructors to sell more than to teach. Nelson's is great. There is more room for training, and the parents aren't seated in the same area with the class. Mr. Nelson trains his students to be confident leaders.
