DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

Went to to a simple exchange for a different size. The cashier was unsure of what to do and called her manager over to assist. Neither the manager or the cashier explained that they will do a return and return the money. They proceeded with the return and would not allow me to change the boots. After they mistakenly did the return I was not able to just change the size, now they would not allow me to do an exchange of size. Spoke to the manager and she was just as clueless and unhelpful. I would not recommend this store unless you want to be ripped off and receive terrible customer service.

Sasha is great! Thrilled that I can buy my unique shoe size here but disappointed that they seem to be turning into a sneaker store. So many sneakers compared to the amount of casual every day shoes. Will do less shopping here and more shoe shopping online.

Sasha helped us get a pair of boots about 5 weeks ago and she gave us excellent attention and service and once my daughter selected the pair of boots that she liked Sasha looked for the correct size, but it was out of stock so she ordered it online. Yay! One week later the boots arrived. We applied waterproofing (as a protective measure - it makes it easier to keep them clean). The boots fit well and were very comfortable. Four weeks later one of the speed lace hooks popped off due to an improperly installed rivet. I went through customer service and the chat option too, but a replacement was not in stock. Sadness. They told me to go directly to the store and have them assist me. Thank you. Three days later we returned to the DSW store and, as luck would have it, Sasha was working again. We went to the counter and explained the problem with the boots and the communication that I had with customer service. Sasha came over and was even more helpful than on the previous visit. She also searched online for the boots but couldn't find them either. So Sasha walked us through the boots and my daughter eventually chose a different pair and Sasha checked us out. It cost a little bit more for the alternate pair, but my daughter is worth it. If you want phenomenal service with a fantastic personality and a good pair of shoes or boots then go see Sasha at DSW. Thank Grogu for brick and mortar shoe stores. If you are like me, it is impossible to buy shoes that fit well online. There is a good selection at this store and the rewards program is, dare I say, rewarding? Let's try and keep our brick and mortars open and shop local when we can.
