[[ Response to Divesur]] (10/5/2023)
A car from August 2018, bought new from the factory and a single hand, very cared for and always kept in the garage and the cloths on the two rear doors coming off...says a lot about the quality of the materials. I specifically purchased it from Divesur even though I could have bought it from other dealers at a lower price. And I did it because of the guarantee that the old Divesur offered me (I say old because since you have been in the new facilities the customer treatment is very different, especially from the girl at the reception stand at the entrance, below in the reviews you can see I'm not the only one).
——————— (first review)——————
This is how the doors are and she has just been traveling alone for 5 years and the car is immaculate in the garage. Solution on Ford's part, spending 400 euros on each door, because the entire cloth has to be replaced. If you are thinking of buying a Ford, be careful with manufacturing defects, you are going to eat it with potatoes. What a shame of 27 thousand euros.
I took my vehicle 7 times with the same problem and they were not able to repair it. They also created other problems in the vehicle that did not have it before taking it and I went to pick it up several times when it was finished (supposedly) and when I left 4 things I had to They only had one chance to repair it and I have had occasions until I left the car there and went home again without a car, 70km from Divesur, it has happened to me at least 3 times and to make matters worse, the after-sales manager FERNANDO MONTERO tells me that if I don't I am happy with the service that I went to another dealer having spent €40,000 on a Ford Ranger here at DIVESUR THANK YOU VERY MUCH I WILL SURELY RECOMMEND YOU AND BUY ANOTHER CAR AT YOUR DEALERSHIP OR IN SOME OF THE ONE YOU HAVE
Although I am not one to write reviews, after the treatment received and feeling dizzy, I consider that I have no other choice and along with it, file a complaint, since it seems that today it is the only way to do things. Although I am a lifelong customer of the brand and have had at least 10 Ford vehicles (I currently have 3). My latest acquisition was a Ford Ranger Raptor that is currently 1 year old and began to have problems in the same week with 3 wheel pressure sensors on time.
By taking it to Ford (and also being a mechanic by trade), having a good relationship with the workshop area, especially with David who has always had excellent treatment and has helped since I have known him. I have come across several things:
- Firstly (and least relevant) the new location of the workshop, where your vehicle is left outside if you have to sleep there because they do not have space inside, leaving you really exposed to anyone passing by there who could cause damage, in addition to being in the sun. .
- Secondly, the treatment received, on the first occasion by someone from sales, who upon seeing that I was in the workshop area (OUTDOOR PATIO WHERE ANYONE CAN ACCESS THE VEHICLES AND PRECISELY RESPECTING NOT TO ENTER THE WORKSHOP) tells me that I have to I go to the reception to get information, I tell him that I am asking something about the mechanic who is working on my car and he reiterates that whatever I want to ask at the reception, I bite my tongue and go to the reception, where I start taking walks because of the display of vehicles while I wait, because standing still or sitting my back hurts (this is already the third or fourth time I have gone there due to the same error). The receptionist tells me to please wait seated, being the second one I left.
- When they call me to tell me that my car is "ready" and I say ready because from the beginning different valves failed punctually and although I understand that this type of failure is complicated and they have their own procedure, it is quite strange that different valves fail punctually in a week and the failure comes from all the valves at the same time... but hey okay, a valve is changed, I take the car, they fail again the same with the km. I make an appointment again, same procedure but with another valve, it fails, I return, they change another valve, it fails, I return.
- On this last occasion I ended up taking the car and did not return, since at first I had a replacement vehicle, something that, although it is not my car, at least you are covered, you can return home and get around (cars returned clean and with more gasoline of the one they bring) that now "we only leave if it is for inspection", but that I was only able to enjoy the first time I left the car there, the rest 25 euros for a taxi that costs you to return to the town every time I leave the car + the diesel used obviously from having to test my car + the extra kilometers and also that they leave you without a vehicle being barely 1 year old...
- THE LAST LAST comes when a trusted friend shows up who has a wildtrack now out of warranty with a replacement vehicle when I was going to ask about mine and the first thing he tells me is "here I come again for the car that is out of control... "And my question is the obvious one: "Is the replacement vehicle because you are undergoing inspection?" and the answer that awaited me: "to my replacement vehicle always."
I'm still waiting for an explanation as to why I do have to leave the money with a vehicle under warranty... Because they didn't even know what to tell me...
EDIT
I understand the procedures and whether I like them more or less, I have already expressed my agreement with them, but not the discriminatory treatment. Also add that with the assembly of the two tires in which the valves were changed, they marked the entire circumference of the tire profile, making a cut in the entire circumference and marking the entire tire, I have not even complained about that , because I know the answer they are going to give me with all this and I honestly don't feel like arguing...
