I recently had the pleasure of working with Connecticut Fence Works, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the exceptional service and quality craftsmanship they provided. Our project involved removing sections of an existing fence, including a 10' double gate, to make way for a driveway extension, and Connecticut Fence Works went above and beyond in seamlessly integrating the new section of fence around the extended driveway. One of the most impressive aspects of their work was the meticulous attention to detail in matching the new fence to the existing 3 rail vinyl farm style fence. The existing fence had non-standard rail spacing, and I was initially concerned about finding a match. However, Kurt and his team at Connecticut Fence Works proved their expertise by perfectly replicating the design, resulting in a cohesive and visually appealing transition between the old and new sections which included a 10' double gate as well as a single 4' gate. The end result exceeded my expectations. The entire process, from the initial consultation to the completion of the project, was seamless. Kurt's knowledge and experience in the industry were evident, and he took the time to thoroughly explain the process, address any concerns, and ensure that we were satisfied with the final result. I needed to have a fence installed around an AC condenser. I called several companies; most weren't respectful enough to return my call. Kurt and Laurel made immediate contact. I understand it's not a big job, but I needed it done. Kurt came right out gave me a very competitive price and we agreed that he would use my job as a filler. To my surprise it was scheduled quickly, and I was the first stop that day. Kurt arrived with two installers. Kurt and I discussed the installation, and he ensured the installers understood exactly what the scope of work was. The installation was accurate, fast and clean and I'm not easily impressed. The fence is high quality and looks great. Kurt and Laurel followed up to ensure I was happy with the new fence and it's installation. Two months later I'm STILL very happy with my decision to have Connecticut Fence Works hide the AC condenser. I have recommended Kurt and his team to many people and will continue to do so. I would be surprised if you can find a company that will impress you like this one will. If you have a choice, choose Connecticut Fence Works you won't regret it.

Kurt and his team made getting our back yard fenced an excellent experience from first consultation through to completion. They were great at communicating every step of the way, which was essential since our yard is a challenging one to work with - lots of elevation changes, bushes, and rock. He measured the area to be fenced meticulously, including checking the elevation changes and identifying where custom panels would be needed because of the steep slope. He was happy to discuss our questions and offer advice when we asked what he'd recommend based on his experience. We weren't sure what kind of fence we wanted at first, so he discussed the pros and cons of each kind and answered all our questions, and actually quoted out two different options for us so we could take pricing into account for the decision. We decided to go with the black aluminum rather than chain link, and I'm so glad we did - it looks fantastic! He clearly communicated what we would need to do in advance to let his team work (removal of some large bushes that were in the planned fence path). When we decided to get the yard surveyed to make sure of where the property lines were (and who owned certain bushes), he was happy to come out again and re-measure, and answer a few more questions we'd come up with. Our neighborhood has a lot of rock, which Kurt knew from experience, so he rolled the expectation of needing to drill and jackhammer for most of the posts into the quote so we wouldn't have any unexpected expenses. Sure enough, a good two thirds of the posts needed drilling. Even with that, the team worked quickly and finished within the work estimate they gave us. We have a large yard, and they got through everything in only four days of work! The team foreman walked through the plan with me on the first day and marked out the corners and how each gate should open, and when I wasn't sure which way to go they were happy to talk through pros and cons and share their expertise. Our yard surface is very irregular, so there were some small gaps in a couple places at first that the dogs might have decided to dig at, but the team moved some dirt and rocks to ensure all of those were filled in and the fence is flush to the ground all the way around, and the top looks great. We're super happy with how the fence looks and every aspect of the installation and our interactions with Kurt and the office and installation teams. We'll definitely be recommending Connecticut Fence Works to any friends who want to get fencing done in the future! Here's another thing I love about Connecticut Fence Works: it would have been three days instead of four (we were expecting at least four), but there was a mixup with the factory labeling of one box of posts, so they had to get a new set from their supplier in order to finish up on the next working day. (It was the Friday before Labor Day, so they finished the work on Tuesday.) They let us know as soon as they discovered the problem, and communicated clearly about what the next steps were and what we should expect, and they followed through even faster than promised, since they thought it might take another two half-days but it only took one. They were were very apologetic even though the mislabeling wasn't their fault, but I told them I expect every project to have some sort of hiccup and what matters is how you deal with it - and how they dealt with it made me very happy we chose to work with them!
