I'm a first-time customer who googled Greg's place and can confirm I'm very happy and satisfied with Greg's work! When I came in with my 5+ yrs old boots, Greg explained in detail what needed to be done and broke down the cost and was very helpful and professional. He did an amazing job and def extended the life of my boots--highly recommend him and I would come again if I need more shoe repairs! The before vs after pics are stark contrast!

Greg is an Artist. We worked together on a vision I had to upgrade my Wolverine 1000 mile boots into a unique piece that is in line with current fashion trends and hardier for the colder months. Greg went the extra mile to make sure that they were perfect. Looking forward to our next project.

Wildly impressed. I took in 3 pairs of shoes to be fixed, and the man working had very honest conversations with me about the value of fixing them vs. purchasing new. He didn't take any of the shoes, which means he turned away a profit so that he could be honest and stand by his work. He did recommend a few companies for me to look into for purchasing some flats that could last a long time. I am just so taken aback with the honesty and the business sense. I'll be returning in the future!

I brought these Beckett Simonon Fonseca boots to Colonial to get them fully resoled and have sole protectors and metal toe tips installed. Greg listened to all of my requests, gave me options and suggestions, and the result came out great. He has a Blake stitch machine in house (not all cobblers do), so he can resole Blake stitched shoes properly. In the past, I've also brought my Carmina Oxfords to have sole guards and the metal toe tips installed, which also came out great. While the price isn't cheap, he does a really good job, and I will definitely be back! He also carries variety of shoe care products, including Sapphire products, which can be harder to find in stores. If you need work done to your leather shoes/boots I would recommend Colonial 100%

I cannot express enough how amazing my shoes came out after Greg added outsoles and did restorations. Greg took time to explain and suggest options, timeline, costs, and match materials to my shoes for quality and color to upgrade the look of the shoes. I had a chip in the upper outsole of Prada due to the sticking price tag (bummer); while the Pliner and two boots' outsoles were getting worn out, and I was looking to repair and restore to last longer. Oh look at the details how neat the edgings, color blend, and polished look! I would say that price I paid was reasonable given a topnotch quality of work and customer service. I am very satisfied and highly recommend Greg !
