Overall:
Good, clean and comfortable property with friendly staff. Pricey simply for the location.
The good:
The location is right on this beautiful clean beach. The whole red snapper with almond sauce dinner I got was amazing. And the wine selection was decent.
The not so good:
For the high price, I would have expected a welcome drink at a minimum or a light breakfast.
The wifi is not great in the rooms, which is fine. Use your laptop by the pool and enjoy the view.
The hot tubs were not working the last couple of days I was there.
Love , love this place. Beautiful Ocean view very clean love the rooms and the service is immaculate. Our favorite person working at this resort was Carlos he went above and beyond you should ask for him. Also, you would enjoy the conversation with Hector
And Karen is such a sweetheart. If you’re coming to visit Carlos can get you whatever you need very friendly guy bilingual and will be able to show you and tell you all the hotspots.
Great location and nice staff in the restaurant. The rooms, however, are unfinished (no electricity, construction during the day, etc) we stayed in a very overpriced "deluxe" room which was clearly not ready yet. The person at the reception was extremely unhelpful (couldn't even send towels to the rooms that didn't have towels when we checked in). With the same price, you find a much better room.
Stopped by with my wife and a friend randomly on a day trip from Los Cabos to explore Todos Santos and the area. We were looking to check out the beach, have a drink and snacks, and catch the sunset. Getting here does take mile or two drive over a rough-ish dirt road.
Overall it was a very cool place with a nice mellow vibe. The bar is under a palapa at the very large pool and served pretty good margaritas with attentive wait staff. We had chips and guacamole as well as some ceviche both which were good.
We didn't get in, but the pool was huge and very clean. Also, there is an attached large hot tub that a couple of guests said was truly hot.
The property overlooks part of Cerritos Beach. The beach looked good for swimming and surfing with close to a dozen people out surfing. This is in comparison to the beaches in Los Cabos which can have crazy rough surf.
Before we left, we checked out 3 different rooms. One was a "Garden Villa" This had a living room, full kitchen, and a bath on the first floor with 2 bedrooms upstairs with a King in one and queen in the other. Not beachside. They said they cost about 5,000 pesos (~$320 US). On the web I saw as low as $260. We saw a studio with a bed and bath also not beach view. It was pretty nice. Cost about 3,000 pesos. Finally, we saw a beach side studio with similar setup. There was a small patio and hammock as well. I missed the price on this but online its about $190 U.S.
We'll comeback and stay here. Really like the low key vibe compared to the craziness of Cabo San Lucas where the world seems to be trying to get you to buy something.
Great place to enjoy a drink and meal while watching the surfer. Location right on the beach. Good food, great service, loved the entertainement. We wished we would of brought our kids as they offer smoore kits at the fireplace in the evening.
