We live out-of-state and choosing Tim as our realtor was the best decision we made; Tim earned our trust and we became confident purchasing real estate from afar. He went to properties we were interested in and videoed them for us with commentary; it was as if we were there in person. When we were ready to make an offer, he quickly put the paperwork together, looked out for our best interest, and clearly answered all our questions. Tim has built a large network of professional relationships which helped tremendously in coming to contract agreements and kept the sale moving forward to a successful close. We have worked with Tim for about a year searching for the right home in San Luis Obispo for our family who was relocating from Lake Tahoe. Because of our distance, we were not able to physically be there for all the open houses, but that never stopped Tim from attending them for us and giving us in depth virtual tours to give us a better feel for the property. We recently purchased a home in SLO and are so thankful someone recommended Tim Riley to us! From the start, Tim was very helpful in explaining how the process works and really held our hand through all the stressors (and mountains of paperwork!). I can’t tell you how impressed I have been with Tim from start to finish! I don’t live in the area, so the thought of trying to sell a home long distance was pretty overwhelming. I reached out to Tim for help and had such a positive experience that a couple of years later I went back to him again to sell a second home. He was just as impressive on the second transaction as the first, and I couldn’t have been happier. I first contacted Tim about selling a condo that I owned in the 5 Cities area. He answered my call personally and was kind enough to meet me at the home on a day and time that was convenient for me (since I didn’t live in the area). He came prepared with data about recent sales and was very knowledgeable about the area. Thanks to Tim, we ended up with multiple offers after that first Open House and it sold for more than our asking price. When I had to sell a second home, I again called Tim and the second transaction with him was just as smooth as the first. Even in the midst of Covid craziness, the home was in contract within 4 days of listing it and we got just over our asking price, thanks to Tim. I can’t speak highly enough of Tim and the stress-free experience he gave me. He provided quick responses to my questions, and I think the biggest compliment I can pay him is that I never at any point had to guess what was happening in the transaction; he kept me updated and informed throughout the entire process…both times.
