I really hate giving a bad review on a local, family owned business but future buyers of their cedar posts should know about their product and policy. I bought these “premium” cedar posts for my front fence and after 1 month they started to split. I contacted cedar supply about the issue and the response I got was”they’d be happy to replace the posts” but labor was on me. My posts are in concrete, not exactly a cheap fix. Staff and my experience buying them was great! Super bummed about my brand new, beautiful falling apart fence!

I decided to give Cedar Supply a chance last weekend due to its high google rating. The reviews don't lie, top notch customer service and knowledge. I was greeted and helped immediately for a small fencing project I was working on. They helped me choose the right materials and gave me some tips to have a successful outcome. I look forward to working with them on my future projects.

I've been there over the last two weeks probably about 8 times since I only have an SUV but every time all of the staff have been kind and in a great mood. That goes for the staff inside as well as the outside workers. They are helpful and very professional. I was not expecting such good service. I never write reviews but felt I needed to. I also called the manager to let him know they are doing something right. Will continue to use these guys for my next projects. Keep up the good work! Brent

Longtime customer of Cedar Supply, but sadly, it looks like they’ve succumbed to terrible customer service. We recently built a gazebo for our patio and purchased our 6x6 posts from them. We purchased a few of them initially but changed the design and had to come back about a month later to get two more. The two recent 6x6 posts we bought are garbage. We stained them to prolong their life and not even a month into having them and they’re splitting down all sides, through the middle of the posts. The other posts we purchased are doing great, so there is clearly an issue with these recent two. I called Cedar Supply and the man on the phone said (in a very rude tone of voice) “Posts split. There is nothing we can do.” And refused to let us exchange them because they have already been installed. I explained to him our other posts didn’t do this but he did not care. He did not offer any tips on what we can do to stop the splitting or anything. It is ridiculous and sad that they won’t stand by their own product failing in a months time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They’re overpriced and quite rude. We should have listened to our friends who had a very bad experience with them and gone somewhere else, but we didn’t and now we’re paying the price.

I highly recommend Cedar Supply. My neighbor and I built a rather large composite deck and they helped me select the amount of lumber and composite decking with a really close and accurate count. They were very patience with me as I am not an every day builder. Their customer service was exceptional and they have earned my business.
