Great stop in Chatham Found my black Keens in my size. They have Teva, Keen, Birkenstock and lots of other brands. 2 floors.

Sometimes, like today, the only place we visit in downtown Chatham is Canterbury Leather. High quality shoes, leather goods, and jewelry. Don't forget to visit the sale room upstairs.

Excellent selection of shoes & leather goods but terrible customer service. The two people working on Tuesday evening seemed so bothered by being asked for shoe sizes to try on. Not attentive to customers at all. And slow as molasses to actually help. Gave us an bad taste of Chatham as it was the first store we went into. Thankfully, all the other shops’ employees were kind & helpful.

The store features fine leather goods: shoes, hats, wallets, belts, vests, sandals, boots as well as original silver jewelry. Be sure to check out the loft area for footwear on sale in your size. From fringed vest to classic portfolio, if you are looking for something in leather, chances are pretty good that you can find it here. Prices are fair. Staff very friendly.
